“You said you were going home in half an hour when I left you," he squints at his alarm clock, "three hours ago. I wouldn’t mind you working these late nights, except that you have a habit of dragging me into them, too.”
“Would you shut up for a second?” the other man snaps. “I said it was important. I’ve done it.”
